Anand is an accomplished Sales, Marketing and Business Development professional with over 30 years of experience in the domain of IT Hardware, Office Automation and Peripherals. His areas of expertise include Business Strategy development, Execution, Go-To-Market strategy, B2B/B2C sales, Demand Generation, Sales Operations and devising India Entry strategy for new entrants. Anand’s sales coverage includes India domestic sales, Exports and Middle East/North Africa and the Rest of South Asia.
In his career spanning 3 decades, he has been associated with the Godrej group and Multi-National Corporations like Brother International, Japan and Printronix LLC. During his tenure at Brother, India was instrumental in setting up the Brother India subsidiary and scaling up its business to what it is today. While in Printronix, as the Country Director for India and South Asia, Anand was key to changing the business model from an indirect OEM business in India to Printronix’s own brand.
Anand is known for his leadership skills and for nurturing high-performance teams throughout his career. He has a rare combination of being left-brained and right-brained in equal measure bringing in a generous dose of creativity to solving business problems.
