Radhakrishnan is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and an Advocate.

He worked for about 6 years in the Accountancy profession (Big 4 – AFF, SBB).

Thereafter, he worked for almost two decades at the renowned FMCG MNC company Nestle in various roles across Finance, Operations and Information Services such as:
• Business Unit CFO (P&L Management), Controllership, Performance Improvement and Acceleration, M&A and business integration, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Restructuring, Process Re-engineering, Financial / Management Accounting; Consolidation and Reporting; Direct and Indirect Taxation; International Tax, BPO setup and processes transition, Capital allocation, budgeting and investments, Cost Management, etc.

• Information Technology: Business Applications including SAP, Automation, New technology and processes for distributors and sales personnel, Business Process improvements, strengthening Business Intelligence and Decision Support by adopting new
tools and concepts, development of key and end users on Business Processes and SAP Systems etc., Global IT steering group member to move towards aggregated IT Services Organization.

• Procurement process transformation from operational to a strategic approach.

• Legal Partner – as the link between the BU and legal team to provide relevant legal advice and support.

• People / HR – Training and Development of people across organization, Develop new ideas for people engagement and work on implementation, Mentoring/guiding management trainees.

For over a decade now, he has been engaging independently with start-ups, not for profits and SMEs. He has been a virtual/consulting CFO for some SMEs, supported an organization in preparing for their IPO, been involved in formation of companies, has played key role in an M&A transaction of one of the companies where he was Consulting CFO, supported World Bank as a Consultant in monitoring of some of the WB aided projects and supported a large not for profit in developing / strengthening internal control, internal audit, operational efficiency etc.

He sees himself as a problem solver, possessing analytical capability, creativity, a holistic perspective and good inter-personal skills; looking beyond immediate solutions and facilitating businesses to achieve excellence and success. He is particularly optimistic that it is SMEs with strong capabilities and big ambitions that will become the future wealth and employment generators in India and propel the country to being a large and developed economy in the next two decades.
